Delayed Egress Operation

When an unauthorized exit attempt is made, movement of the latchbolt initiates the delayed-egress sequence.

The device provides a 15-second delay while sounding an approximately 100 dB alarm, giving facility personnel time to respond while discouraging unauthorized exit.

The system also provides for a fire alarm override, allowing the delayed-egress function to release as required during an emergency.

Cylinder Dogging

The CD – Cylinder Dogging option allows authorized personnel to mechanically dog the pushpad using a compatible cylinder.

This can be useful during scheduled unlocked periods when free passage through the opening is required.

Cylinder is not included unless specifically ordered.

FC3 Flexible Conduit

The FC3 option provides a 3-foot flexible conduit kit that mounts to the exit device end cap and provides a protected pathway for the electrical wiring serving the delayed-egress system.
