What the Logic Box Does

The logic box serves as the electronic control center of the automatic-door operator.

Portalp describes the operator logic unit as the component that intelligently manages:

• Door movement

• Opening cycles

• Closing cycles

• Obstacle response

• Communication with connected equipment

• Input and output peripherals

Because the logic box coordinates multiple operator functions, a fault in the control unit can affect several aspects of door operation.
