The ABH PT1000 Concealed Power Transfer provides a secure and discreet method of transferring electrical power and control wiring from the door frame into electrified commercial door hardware.

Featuring ten 24 AWG conductors, the PT1000 installs into mortised preparations in the edge of the door and frame and becomes completely concealed when the door is closed.

Built with rugged all-metal construction and no plastic back boxes, the PT1000 is designed for demanding commercial openings, including high-traffic and high-abuse applications.

Available in S5 Dark Bronze or US28 Aluminum finish.

Concealed Installation

The PT1000 mounts into mortised pockets in both the door edge and frame.

When the door is closed, the entire power-transfer assembly is concealed from view, providing a cleaner appearance and helping protect the wiring from tampering and physical damage.

This makes the PT1000 an excellent solution for electrified openings where exposed door loops or surface-mounted wiring are not desirable.

Standard Door Applications

The PT1000 is designed for compatible commercial openings including:

• 1-3/4" to 2" thick doors

• Cam lift hinges with up to 1/2" lift

• Butt hinges up to 5"

• 5-1/2" butt hinges with reduced maximum opening

• 6" butt hinges with reduced maximum opening

• Offset pivots up to 3/4" on compatible 1-3/4" doors

Depending on the hinge or pivot configuration, the PT1000 can accommodate door swings up to 180°.

Verify compatibility when using:

• Swing-clear hinges

• Pocket pivots

• Butt hinges larger than 6"
