Meeting Stile Door Sealing

The meeting stile is the vertical area where two door leaves come together when a pair of doors is closed.

Even properly adjusted commercial doors can have a visible gap between the leaves.

Installing a brush astragal along the meeting stile helps create a more effective barrier against:

• Drafts

• Dust

• Dirt

• Debris

• Light

• Air leakage

• Insects

The flexible brush allows the doors to operate while maintaining contact across the meeting area.

Flexible Brush Design

Brush gasketing is especially useful on commercial openings because the bristles can conform to small variations in:

• Door alignment

• Meeting-stile clearance

• Uneven gaps

• Door movement

• Existing frame conditions

Unlike a rigid seal, the brush can maintain contact without requiring excessive closing force.

Available Lengths

Choose from:

• 7 ft / 84"

• 8 ft / 96"

Select the length based on the overall door height and trim as necessary during installation.
