Important Weatherization Note

The standard 10 Series platform is available in weatherized configurations for certain Detex electrified functions, but Detex currently lists EE ER delayed egress with latch retraction as a non-weatherized electrified option.

For an exterior or weather-exposed opening, contact Detex or specify the appropriate system, such as:

• WDEx10 – Weatherized delayed-egress system

• ER EX W – Weatherized electric latch retraction with Request-to-Exit

Do not assume a standard EE ER device is weatherized simply because the underlying 10 Series platform has weatherized versions.
