Power and control a complete Detex delayed-egress and electric latch-retraction opening with the Detex 84-800 Universal Logic & Power Supply Controller with Remote Indicating Unit.

Designed specifically for a single Detex Advantex EExER exit device, the 84-800 combines the required power supply and control logic in one enclosure. It converts incoming 120VAC power into filtered and regulated 24VDC while coordinating the delayed-egress and electric latch-retraction functions of the opening.

The system also includes a Remote Indicating Unit (RIU) containing the audible alarm and keyswitch used for delayed-egress control and indication.

The 84-800 is specifically engineered for Detex EExER – Delayed Egress with Electric Latch Retraction exit devices.

The controller provides both:

Delayed Egress Control

Coordinates the delayed-release sequence when an unauthorized exit attempt occurs.

Electric Latch Retraction

Provides the power and control required to electrically retract the latch for authorized access, automatic-door operation, or access-control integration.

Combining these functions into one coordinated Detex system simplifies installation and helps ensure proper operation between the exit device, controller, RIU, and automatic door operator.

Remote Indicating Unit Included

The Remote Indicating Unit (RIU) is supplied with the 84-800.

Detex identifies the RIU as containing the:

Standard 15-Second Delayed Egress
