The ECL-600 combines physical locking security with a powerful 100 dB audible alarm.

When an unauthorized exit attempt activates the device, the alarm provides immediate notification to employees, security personnel, or nearby occupants.

The alarm operates from an included 9V battery, allowing the standard ECL-600 to function without a dedicated hardwired power supply.

A hardwired conversion kit is also available separately when required.

Heavy-Duty Relatching Security

Unlike a simple alarmed deadbolt, the ECL-600 incorporates both:

• 1" throw deadbolt

• 3/4" deadlocking latchbolt

The latchbolt provides automatic relatching when the door closes, helping maintain security after the opening has been used.

This design makes the ECL-600 particularly useful for secondary exits where both life safety and theft prevention are important.

Attack-Resistant Construction

The ECL-600 is engineered for high-abuse commercial openings.

Its rugged construction provides resistance against forced attack from both sides of the opening, with the assembly tested to withstand more than 2,200 lbs. of outside pull force.

A saw-resistant deadbolt further increases resistance to tampering.

Photoluminescent Exit Sign

The heavy-duty steel push plate incorporates a photoluminescent sign, improving visibility in dark or emergency conditions without requiring electrical illumination.

The standard configuration includes an English push plate sign.
