Designed for 48" Detex Value Series exit devices, this filler assembly adds the EA hardwired exit-alarm function with pushpad monitoring, remote signaling, remote bypass capability, and cylinder dogging.

When an unauthorized exit attempt is made, the EA system activates an approximately 100 dB alarm, helping alert facility personnel while maintaining normal life-safety egress operation.

Hardwired Exit Alarm

The EA option is intended for doors requiring a hardwired alarmed panic device.

When the pushpad is activated while the system is armed, the approximately 100 dB alarm sounds to alert personnel of an unauthorized exit attempt.

The EA system also provides:

Cylinder Dogging – CD
