Delayed Egress Operation

When an unauthorized exit attempt activates the Detex EE system, an approximately 100 dB alarm sounds while the opening remains secured for the standard 15-second delay period. After the delay, the door releases for egress.

The system is designed to interface with the building's fire alarm system so that delayed locking is overridden during a fire emergency.
