The Detex V40 EE FC3 LD 628 99 48 is a commercial-grade delayed egress rim exit device designed to help control unauthorized exits while maintaining life-safety functionality. Part of the Detex Value Series, the V40 is built as durable Grade 1 panic and fire exit hardware and is designed for use on single doors or double doors with mullions.
This configuration includes a 48-inch device, less dogging, 99 surface strike, satin aluminum clear anodized 628/US28 finish, delayed egress, and power supply included. The delayed egress function provides a secure exit delay with audible and visual warning before release, making it a strong option for retail loss prevention, healthcare, memory care, government, and other controlled-exit applications.
Built with a heavy-duty ribbed aluminum rail, non-handed design, field-sizeable construction, and a stainless steel 3/4-inch deadlocking Pullman-type latchbolt, the V40 Series is made for long service life and easier installation.
