Designed for compatible octagonal and round aluminum barrier arms, the 1601-242 provides the standard mounting bracket and hardware required to connect the arm to the operator hub.

This is DoorKing's standard arm-only hardware kit without reverse-edge wiring, making it ideal for conventional barrier-gate installations that do not require the separate reverse-edge hardware package.

Octagonal & Round Aluminum Arm Compatibility

DoorKing currently specifies the 1601-242 for both:

• Octagonal aluminum barrier arms

• Round aluminum barrier arms

For the DoorKing 1601 parking-gate platform, compatible arm choices include various one-piece, two-piece, and folding aluminum-arm configurations depending on the installation.

Standard Arm Mounting

The 1601-242 bracket mounts directly to the operator's existing hub.

DoorKing's installation instructions show the arm sliding into the standard bracket and being secured with the included mounting hardware.

The operator hub may be positioned on either side of compatible operators, allowing the gate arm to be configured for the appropriate roadway layout.

Important: Operator Hub Not Included

The 1601-242 does not include the operator hub.

DoorKing specifies that the hub:

• Is supplied with the barrier-gate operator

• Must already be correctly installed

• Should be tested in the UP and DOWN positions before installing the arm bracket

If the existing operator is missing its hub or the hub is damaged, the correct replacement hub must be obtained separately.
