Designed for exit devices using up to a 3/4" Pullman-style latchbolt, the HES 9600 installs directly to the surface of a compatible metal or wood frame without requiring a traditional strike pocket or frame cutout.

Its heavy-duty stainless steel construction, field-selectable 12/24VDC operation, adjustable Fail Safe/Fail Secure configuration, and horizontal adjustment make it an excellent choice for commercial access-control installations.

Surface-Mounted Installation

The HES 9600 installs directly to the face of the frame.

Installation is simplified because there is no need to cut a traditional electric-strike pocket into the frame. The strike is positioned in alignment with the rim exit device latchbolt and secured to the frame.

The separate base and decorative cover allow easier adjustment during installation.
