1/4" Clear Tempered Safety Glass

The included glazing is 1/4" clear heat-treated tempered glass.

Tempered glass provides substantially greater impact resistance than ordinary annealed glass and is designed to break into small fragments if fractured.

NGP specifies that the glazing:

• Is approximately 4 times stronger than ordinary annealed glass

• Meets ANSI Z97.1 Class A

• Meets CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category I and II

• Meets applicable IBC impact-safety requirements for use in doors

The kit includes NGP L-GT-118 closed-cell PVC foam glazing tape.
