Designed for 1-3/4" thick hollow metal or wood doors, this low-profile vision frame is constructed from durable 18-gauge cold-rolled steel with mitered, welded corners and reinforcing clips.

This 5" x 35" configuration includes 1/4" clear tempered safety glass and L-GT-118 closed-cell PVC foam glazing tape, providing a complete vision-lite solution for compatible commercial door applications.

NGP specifies that the cut glass is 1" smaller than the order size and the exposed glass is 2" smaller than the order size.

Tempered Safety Glass

The included glass is 1/4" clear heat-treated tempered glass.

NGP specifies that it:

• Is approximately four times stronger than ordinary annealed glass

• Breaks into relatively small fragments when broken

• Cannot be cut after tempering

• Meets ANSI Z97.1 Class A

• Meets CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Category I and II

• Complies with IBC impact-safety requirements for use in doors

L-GT-118 Glazing Tape

The included L-GT-118 glazing tape is constructed from closed-cell PVC foam with adhesive on both sides.

The TG tempered-glass version is not fire-rated. Do not use this configuration where a fire-rated vision assembly is required.
