How the NIR-8 Works

The NIR-8 provides a simple handheld method for initiating a call from a room or bedside location.

When the call button is pressed, the connected NIM Series system sends a call indication to the associated master station.

Depending on the system configuration, the master station can provide:

Required Wall Jack

The NIR-8 does not connect directly to the NIM master station.

It requires one of the following compatible wall jacks:

Wall Jack with Microphone for NIR-8

Combines the NIR-8 connection with a built-in room microphone.
