100 dB Audible Horn

The SRN5W produces approximately 100 dB of audible output, making it ideal for locations where the alarm built into an exit device may not be easily heard.

12/24VDC Auto-Sensing Input

The SRN5W automatically operates from either:

12VDC @ 70mA

or

24VDC @ 70mA

No separate voltage-selection switch is required.

When compatible DC voltage is applied, the horn sounds and the internal signaling relay activates.

Form C Dry-Contact Relay

The SRN5W includes an integrated Form C dry-contact relay output.

Relay wiring provides:

• Common – Brown

• Normally Open – Yellow

• Normally Closed – Gray

The relay activates approximately 1/2 second after the siren begins sounding.

This output can be used with compatible monitoring or signaling equipment when additional system indication is required.

Power Connections

Input power connections are:

• Red – 12/24VDC

• Black – Ground

The SRN5W requires an external device or controller capable of supplying 12 or 24VDC at a minimum of 70mA.

Weatherized Construction
