Upgrade or repair a commercial storefront opening with the Adams Rite MS1853A-350 MS® Maximum Security Hookbolt Deadlock Body.
Designed for narrow-stile aluminum doors using the industry-standard Adams Rite MS® preparation, this heavy-duty deadlock features a pivoting hookbolt that securely engages the jamb or strike to resist prying, spreading, and attempts to separate the door from the frame.
This configuration features a 1-1/8" backset and is supplied as the lock body only, making it an excellent replacement when the existing faceplate, cylinder, strike, and trim can be reused or selected separately.

-
Spread the door and frame apart
-
Force the locking point open
-
Lift compatible sliding doors from their track
The laminated stainless-steel bolt is designed for demanding commercial security applications.

This MS1853A configuration features a:
Backset: 1-1/8"
Backset is measured from the edge of the door to the centerline of the cylinder.
Always verify the existing door preparation before ordering, as Adams Rite MS® deadlocks have been manufactured in multiple backset configurations.
