Mullion-Mount Design

The AX-DM's slim housing makes it especially useful on aluminum storefront entrances and other narrow-stile openings where a conventional intercom station may be too wide.

At only 1-11/16" wide, the station can be mounted directly to many door mullions while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance.

Hands-Free Communication

Visitors initiate communication by pressing the integrated call button.

The station's built-in speaker and microphone provide open-voice, hands-free communication with the connected Aiphone master station.

Depending on the connected system, communication can be controlled through automatic voice activation or push-to-talk operation from the master station.

Compatible Aiphone Systems

The AX-DM can be used with compatible:

• Aiphone AX Series

• Aiphone IE-8 Series

• Aiphone IPW-1A

• Aiphone KB Series

• Aiphone TD-H Series

Always verify compatibility with the existing master station, exchange unit, and wiring before ordering.

Wiring

The AX-DM supports:

• CAT-5e wiring in AX Series installations

• Compatible 2-conductor wiring in certain supported Aiphone systems

In an AX Series system, the station connects back to the compatible central exchange unit.

Weather-Resistant Construction

The durable ABS enclosure is designed for commercial entry applications and carries an IP43 protection rating.

This makes the AX-DM suitable for protected exterior and interior commercial entrances when installed according to Aiphone requirements.

Ideal Applications

• Aluminum storefront entrances

• Narrow-stile doors

• Office buildings

• Retail stores

• Schools and universities

• Healthcare facilities

• Government buildings
