Video Monitoring & Communication Functions

1. Color Video Visitor Identification

The KB-3MRD displays live video from compatible Aiphone KB Series door stations using its 4-inch TFT color LCD.

When a visitor presses a connected entrance call button, the video master station displays the corresponding camera image, helping authorized users identify the visitor before granting access.

2. Remote Camera Tilt Control

When connected to a compatible KB-DAR video door station, the KB-3MRD provides remote vertical camera tilt control.

The camera can be adjusted approximately 40° to improve visitor identification.

Note: This is a camera tilt function, not digital PanTilt and Zoom. It does not provide the modern touchscreen image controls found on Aiphone JP Series equipment.

3. Full-Duplex Privacy Handset

The built-in handset allows authorized users to communicate privately with visitors at connected entrances.

The handset provides simultaneous two-way audio communication.

4. Selective Room Calling

The KB-3MRD supports calling individual compatible indoor KB Series stations.

This allows reception personnel, office employees, or facility staff to communicate between designated answering locations.

5. Internal All-Call Communication

The All-Call function allows users to make announcements to connected indoor stations.
