Based on the Schlage L9080 mortise-lock platform, the ACL9080EU/EL-LMRX combines field-selectable Fail Safe / Fail Secure electrification with both a Latch Bolt Monitor (LM) and Request-to-Exit (RX) switch.

LM + RX Monitoring

The combination of LM and RX allows the access-control system to receive information from both the latch and inside trim.

A typical monitored sequence may be:

3. Occupant operates the inside lever

4. RX signals authorized egress

5. Latchbolt retracts

6. Occupant opens the door

Field-Selectable Fail Safe / Fail Secure
