The 7410 Series features an extended 1-7/16" x 7-15/16" faceplate with rounded corners, making it suitable for properly prepared aluminum, hollow metal, and wood door jambs.

Engineered for high-performance commercial applications, the UltraLine 7410 incorporates an adjustable stainless steel keeper and preload-capable construction, allowing the strike to release electrically under up to 25 pounds of door pressure.

Its compact body requires only 1-1/16" of mounting depth, making it useful for both new installations and compatible electric-strike retrofits.

The strike provides over 1,500 pounds of static holding force in fail-secure mode and can be configured for either fail-secure or fail-safe operation during installation.

Operating on field-selectable 12V DC or 24V DC power, the Adams Rite 7410 is compatible with properly designed commercial access-control systems, including keypads, card readers, intercom systems, and remote door-release controls.

The strike is not intended as a universal replacement for mortise-lock deadbolts or rim exit-device strikes. Confirm latch type and frame preparation before ordering.

How the Adams Rite 7410 Works

Electronic Door Release

When an authorized access-control device activates the strike, the electrical solenoid changes the locking condition of the adjustable keeper.

The latchbolt can then pass through the strike opening, allowing the door to be opened without retracting the latch using the lever or key.

Fail-Secure Operation

In fail-secure mode, the strike remains secured when electrical power is removed.

Applying the correct voltage releases the keeper.

Fail-Safe Operation

In fail-safe mode, the strike releases when electrical power is removed.

The appropriate operating mode must be selected according to the approved access-control and emergency-egress design.

Adjustable Keeper

The stainless steel keeper includes adjustment features to compensate for appropriate door and frame tolerances.

This design helps the strike operate when pressure is exerted against the latchbolt from door seals, building air pressure, or minor alignment conditions.

Installation Considerations

• Verify the door's latchbolt projection is between 1/2" and 5/8".

• Confirm compatibility with the existing lock and door frame.

• Verify the 7-15/16" faceplate fits the prepared opening.

• Confirm adequate clearance for the 1-1/16" strike body depth.

• Select 12V or 24V DC operation using the appropriate voltage adapter.

• Select fail-safe or fail-secure operation according to the approved system design.

• Properly align the adjustable keeper with the latchbolt.

• Install additional lip extensions where required.

• Test normal door operation and release under expected conditions.

Important: The standard 7410 does not include monitoring contacts. Order the 7410M if latch engagement and solenoid status outputs are required. The strike itself is not a substitute for required panic hardware or other mechanical egress equipment.
