Designed for compatible commercial aluminum-stile doors, the Dual Force® combines a 1" stainless-steel deadbolt with a 5/8" solid-brass deadlatch in one heavy-duty lock body.

When the interconnect function is enabled, a single operation of the interior lever retracts both the deadbolt and latchbolt for convenient egress, while the exterior lever operates the latchbolt only.

Interconnected Interior Operation

The Dual Force® 2190 can be configured so that the inside lever retracts:

• Deadbolt

• Deadlatch

with one lever operation.

This provides convenient single-motion egress even when the deadbolt is projected.

The interconnect function is field selectable during installation.

Exterior Lever Operation

The exterior lever retracts:

Latchbolt Only

It does not retract the projected deadbolt.

This allows the door to function as a normal latched entrance during business hours while maintaining high-security deadbolt protection when required.

Key or Thumbturn Operation

A compatible mortise cylinder or thumbturn can:
