Hands-Free VOX Communication

Press the TALK button once to establish hands-free communication with the entrance station.

The DB-1MD automatically switches between transmit and receive based on voice activity, allowing natural conversation without requiring the user to hold a button.

Push-to-Talk Operation

For noisy environments, the DB-1MD can also operate in push-to-talk mode.

This is useful in locations such as:

Door Release

The DB-1MD includes a dedicated DOOR RELEASE button.

When pressed, the connected DA Series entrance station activates compatible electric locking hardware.

The DB-1MD supports All Call communication with DB-1SD sub-master stations located within the same residence or office.

Pressing the CALL button sends a chime and announcement to the other interior stations.

A compatible station can answer to establish hands-free room-to-room communication.

Expandable Interior Station Capacity

Each tenant can use:

• 1 DB-1MD Master Station

• Up to 4 DB-1SD Sub-Master Stations

This provides as many as 5 answering locations per tenant.

A full DB Series system can support:

• 1 entrance

Option Button

The DB-1MD includes an OPTION button with a Normally Open dry contact.
