Installation & Compatibility

The Aiphone JF-D is designed for integration with an existing Aiphone JF-2MED Video Intercom Master Station.

The station connects using compatible two-conductor intercom wiring and receives operating power directly from the master station.

When the visitor presses the call button, the station initiates an audio call to the connected master station, allowing personnel to communicate through its built-in speaker and microphone.

Mounting Options

• Surface Wall Mount: Installs directly to a suitable wall surface.

• Single-Gang Box Mount: Compatible with standard single-gang electrical boxes.

Important Installation Information

• The JF-D is intended for use with the JF-2MED master station as Door 2 only, in place of a color video door station.

• This product provides audio communication only and does not include a video camera.

• It does not use Ethernet, PoE, SIP, or IP networking.

• The door station receives operating power from the connected master station.

• Remote door release, when used, depends on the compatible master station and associated electric locking hardware.

• Properly route and seal wiring while keeping the station's drainage openings unobstructed.

• Compatible master stations, power supplies for the overall system, electric locking hardware, and other accessories are sold separately.
