How the JN-50 Works

Step 1 – Prepare the Mounting Hole

Using the approved magnetic-lock mounting template, drill a 25/64-inch hole into the suitable metal mounting surface.

Step 2 – Position the Jack Nut

Thread an M5 jack nut onto the corresponding installation-tool mandrel and insert the jack nut into the prepared hole.

Step 3 – Expand the Fastener

Operate the installation tool to compress the jack nut behind the metal surface.

The anchor forms retaining legs that grip the inside of the frame.

Step 4 – Remove the Installation Tool

Release and unscrew the installation tool from the expanded jack nut.

The installed fastener remains in position, providing a threaded mounting point.

Step 5 – Install the Machine Screw

Position the compatible electromagnetic lock mounting plate and install the supplied M5 x 3/4-inch machine screw according to the lock manufacturer's instructions.
