How the NTB Series Works

1. Touchless Infrared Detection

The NTB sensor detects a hand presented within approximately four inches of the activation area.

When activated, the sensor changes the state of its electrical relay to initiate a compatible door-release or door-activation circuit.

2. Battery or Hardwired Power

The NTB Series can operate using two included AA alkaline batteries.

For installations where a regulated DC supply is available, the sensor can alternatively operate using the manufacturer's supported 12/24V DC connection.

The electrical door-release output remains wired in either power configuration.

3. Adjustable Relay Activation

Relay activation time can be selected using the device's jumper settings.
