Commercial Electrified Lock Control Stations | DPDT Switching | Red Status LEDs | 12/24V AC/DC Illumination | Single-Gang Through Four-Gang Models
Provide convenient centralized control of commercial electronic door-locking systems with the Alarm Controls SLP Series Monitoring & Control Stations, designed to operate and monitor one or more compatible electrified locks.
Manufactured by Alarm Controls, an ASSA ABLOY company, the SLP Series features illuminated green push buttons, individual red LED indicators, and durable stainless steel wall plates.
Available with one to eight illuminated control buttons, these stations provide flexible operation for commercial security installations requiring one or multiple lock-control points.
Choose between momentary-action (M) and latching-action (L) configurations to match the specific electrical and operational requirements of the installation.
Each button features a DPDT (Double-Pole, Double-Throw) switch rated at 3 amps at 35V DC or 120V AC, allowing appropriately designed electronic control circuits to operate compatible magnetic locks, electric strikes, and other electrified door hardware.
A separate 1/2-inch red LED status indicator accompanies each illuminated green push button, providing visual feedback when properly connected to the system's monitoring circuitry.
The illuminated buttons and indicator LEDs operate on 12V or 24V AC/DC, while 12-inch color-coded wire leads simplify connection to appropriate control equipment.
With single-gang, double-gang, three-gang, and four-gang configurations, the Alarm Controls SLP Series is suited to commercial offices, security stations, reception areas, warehouses, institutional buildings, and facilities requiring centralized electronic door control.

How the SLP Series Works
1. Electronic Door Release
The SLP control station allows personnel to operate compatible electronic door-release equipment from a convenient wall-mounted location.
Pressing a green push button changes the associated DPDT switch contacts.
Depending on the wiring configuration, the switch can operate an access-control input, interface relay, or appropriately rated electric locking circuit.
2. Momentary Switching – M Models
Momentary SLP models activate only while the button is depressed.
These stations are well suited to applications requiring a temporary electrical control signal.
3. Latching Switching – L Models
Latching SLP models maintain their electrical switch position after the button is released.
Each additional press alternates the switch state.
This is useful for selected security-control applications where an authorized operator must maintain an electrical control condition.
4. LED Status Monitoring
Each SLP button is paired with an individual red LED indicator.
When wired to appropriate external status signals, the LED can provide visual indication of an associated door or lock condition.
Important: The LEDs are indicators, not built-in magnetic bond sensors or door-position sensors. Actual monitoring requires suitable external sensors, controllers, or relay feedback.
5. Multiple Electrified Lock Control
SLP stations with multiple buttons provide control points for several locking circuits from one wall-mounted station.
Depending on the system design, each button may be assigned to a separate controlled door or function.
6. Custom Indication
Alarm Controls offers optional LED colors and custom legends for installations requiring specialized identification.
These configurations should be specified when ordering and may have separate manufacturer part numbers.
