How the Alarm Lock 250XUS28 Works

1. Armed Operation

The device is armed by extending the mechanical deadbolt using a compatible rim cylinder.

When the door is secured and the alarm is armed, the device monitors the exit mechanism.

2. Emergency Exit Activation

When the paddle is depressed, the deadbolt releases mechanically and allows the door to open.

If the unit is armed, the built-in siren sounds immediately.

Mechanical exit is not delayed by the alarm.

3. Two-Minute Alarm Cutoff

The Sirenlock 250 can be set to automatically silence its alarm after approximately two minutes.

If the door remains open, the alarm continues and the device rechecks the door condition at additional two-minute intervals.

Once the door is closed, the alarm can stop at the end of the appropriate interval.

4. Continuous Alarm Mode
