The Potter Amseco EBP-407C Door Annunciator & Entry/Exit Counter is a complete commercial doorway monitoring system designed to provide both audible entry/exit notification and directional traffic counting.

Using active infrared technology, the EBP-407C detects people passing through the doorway and determines whether they are entering or exiting. Each event is recorded by the built-in digital counter while the electronic chime provides a distinctive audible signal.

The system sounds a “ding-dong” for entry and a single “ding” for exit, allowing employees to hear when customers, visitors, or personnel move through the monitored doorway.

Entry & Exit Counting

The EBP-407C uses an infrared beam across the doorway to monitor pedestrian traffic.

Unlike a basic door chime, the system determines the direction of movement and independently records:

• Total Entries

• Total Exits

The selector on the transceiver allows the user to view either the entry or exit count on the built-in digital display.

Both counters can be reset when a new traffic-counting period is required.

Digital Counter

The built-in 4-digit digital counter records up to 9,999 events.

The system uses EEPROM memory, allowing recorded entry and exit totals to remain stored even if electrical power is interrupted.

This makes the EBP-407C useful for businesses that want basic customer traffic information without requiring a networked people-counting system.

Distinctive Entry & Exit Chimes
