The 7000 Series closer body is installed above the door within the header, while the offset arm and track transfer the closer's movement to the door.

The current CDW catalog lists the replacement arm and track separately from the 7000 Series closer body, which is available in 90° or 105° and hold-open or non-hold-open configurations.

Offset Arm Operation

The offset arm connects the overhead concealed closer spindle to the sliding guide track.

During operation:

1. The door begins to open.

2. The offset arm rotates with the closer spindle.

3. The arm travels through the guide track.

4. The closer controls the door's return movement.

5. Proper alignment allows the door to close and latch smoothly.
